The purpose of this collaboration is to coordinate efforts between UMC photo and video units and the campuses, colleges, and student affairs to collect b-roll and other visual assets that will showcase the WSU experience. These visuals must be mutually beneficial to the WSU system and the campus/college/student affairs and will be made available to UMC and the specific organization. Please remember the following:
- Visual asset collection will take place between April 1-June 30. For those who participate, we will plan for up to 8 hours of shooting (photo and video). This time excludes set-up/take-down.
- 2-4 shoot locations/environments maximum. (For example, we can’t accommodate 30-minute segments on 15 different days). Due to travel constraints, we would ask campus locations to keep sessions to a day if possible, with a maximum of two days (still under 8 hours).
- Assets will be gathered by UMC photo and video units at no cost to the campuses/colleges/student affairs.
- Assets will be used for system materials produced by UMC and will be shared with the collaborator.
- The collaborator will coordinate scheduling people (students, faculty, etc.) and location (lab, classrooms, studying, teaching environment, learning situations, etc.).
- Ideally, settings will include either small groups (2-4 students) or individual one-on-one learning (student-professor).
- All safety procedures must be followed for labs or other environments (i.e. safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, etc.).
- A wide range of student and faculty demographics must be represented.
- Date, time, people and locations need to be agreed upon by both UMC and campus/college/student affairs before being finalized.
We look forward to partnering with you to show the great work being done across WSU.
